The bonus: You don't have to think about switching it off again, because after a few minutes it returns automatically to normal operating mode when the steamy part of cooking is over.
The intensive setting temporarily increases the extraction rate when kitchen vapour is especially intense, and automatically reverts back to its original setting after 6 minutes.
