Description
Built for demanding jobs and safer everyday cutting, the Slice 10491 Auto-Retractable Metal-Handle Utility Knife pairs rugged construction with advanced blade technology. Its sleek metal handle delivers solid, balanced control, while Slice's proprietary finger-friendly ceramic blade is engineered to last up to 11.2 times longer than traditional steel blades. The result is a durable, low-maintenance safety utility knife that keeps workflows moving in warehouses, workshops, and DIY projects.
Safety comes first with an auto-retract mechanism that pulls the blade back into the handle the moment you release the slider. The installed rounded-tip ceramic blade helps reduce accidental punctures without sacrificing clean, precise cuts through cardboard, shrink wrap, plastic sheeting, tape, and more. When the job calls for a different edge, optional pointed-tip and serrated blades expand your cutting options for tough materials and detailed tasks.
Designed for nonstop productivity, this metal-handle utility knife features on-board blade storage so a fresh blade is always within reach. A tool-free blade change system means you can swap blades quickly and get back to work in seconds - no extra tools, no downtime. The ambidextrous design supports left- and right-handed users alike, making it a reliable choice for shared tool pools and professional teams.
From industrial operations to home improvement, the Slice auto-retractable utility knife delivers controlled, efficient performance with fewer blade changes and a comfortable, secure grip. If you need a safer box cutter alternative that stands up to heavy use, this ceramic-blade utility knife is built to handle it.
