Travel Light, Capture Wide
The Canon RF 28mm F2.8 STM Lens is a slim, full frame pancake prime built for creators who want stunning wide-angle images without the bulk. Its compact, lightweight design makes it a natural fit for travel, landscapes, street photography, and everyday shooting, delivering the versatility and portability that modern mirrorless shooters demand.
Big Performance In A Small Package
Weighing only 120 g, this ultra-compact wide-angle lens slips into any kit with ease. The bright f/2.8 maximum aperture helps you keep ISO low and shutter speeds high in available light, while the 7-blade circular diaphragm produces smooth, rounded bokeh that flatters portraits and adds visual depth to street scenes and environmental details.
Crisp, High-Contrast Results
Precision moulded elements enable the lenss slim pancake profile while maintaining excellent optical performance. Canon Super Spectra coatings reduce flare and ghosting for clarity and contrast, and in-camera chromatic aberration correction ensures sharp edges and faithful color from center to corner. Expect detailed, high-resolution images ready for editing, sharing, and print.
Swift, Quiet Focusing With Fingertip Control
The STM drive provides smooth, near-silent autofocus for both stills and video, helping you stay discreet for candid street moments. A tactile interface lets you switch quickly between autofocus, manual focus, and the customizable control ring so you can adjust key settings without taking your eye off the scene.
Made For Everywhere You Go
From sweeping cityscapes to spontaneous travel snapshots, the 28 mm focal length delivers immersive wide-angle perspective without extreme distortion, making it a superb all-rounder for day-to-day storytelling on Canon RF mount cameras.
