Description
Unlock stunning image quality in any light with the Canon RF 45mm F1.2 STM Prime Lens. This fast 45mm prime is built for creative photography and video, delivering a beautifully shallow depth of field, creamy background bokeh, and crisp subject isolation. Its super-fast f/1.2 maximum aperture excels in low-light scenes and gives you more control over exposure and artistic look, whether you are shooting portraits, street, lifestyle, or product content.
Rely on smooth, accurate autofocus that keeps up when depth of field is razor thin. Canon's STM autofocus technology is quick and confident, helping you lock onto your subject so you can focus on composition and timing. Paired with EOS R System cameras, this compact prime maintains a constant length and a lightweight build that will not slow you down during all-day shoots or mobile content creation.
Designed for versatility, the RF 45mm F1.2 STM integrates separate focus and control rings for intuitive handling and fast on-lens adjustments. A practical 67mm filter thread makes it easy to add neutral density or polarization, while a close 45 cm minimum focusing distance invites intimate detail shots and compelling close-ups with a natural perspective.
Engineered with specialist optics and durable construction, this lens features a precise metal mount for a secure connection to your EOS R System camera. A 9-blade aperture enhances circular bokeh and smooth defocus, while an aspheric lens element and Super Spectra coating help deliver high contrast and clarity by managing aberrations and flare. When paired with compatible cameras, focus breathing correction supports more consistent framing for professional-looking video.
If you want a fast, everyday prime that elevates portraits, documentaries, and cinematic video, the Canon RF 45mm F1.2 STM brings high-end performance without the professional price tag.
